Abstract

Parents are required to understand further and more deeply about the patterns and efforts to educate their children. There must be an understanding of parents that the obligation to educate children is the same as the obligation to feed, name and marry
children. Islamic boarding schools are "places where students live", this understanding shows the most important characteristic of pesantren, namely the total educational environment. Islamic boarding school learning engineering that involves students to be
more active in life issues has a greater chance of forming the totality of the child. The Zaenuddin Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School teaches memorizing and understanding the Al-Qur'an. It is believed to be the pinnacle of intelligence and success in life.
